The camp itself is not so special, but the jetty has made it a highlight. As Idyllic as this will be hard to find, especially with a book on your lap. But the site has more surprises in store. We were greeted by a cheeky Weka (bird) who ate out of our hand. But even around the jetty happens a lot, a swarm of jellyfish swirls around in the evening and fishing seems like a good idea, but after having had a stingray on the line twice (and not getting it off the seabed), this ended rather quickly.
It is a piece of the Marlborough Sounds, but that's more than worth it. The route is beautiful and the view points the route is recommended. Beautiful area!
